FLICS: the search has begun, become a memory explorer!

“Flics” in Carnia are fabric scraps, those leftover pieces of fabric from other works, usually small in size and irregular in shape. But they are not waste: as our grandparents taught us, nothing should be wasted!
And here, for example, flics sewn one on top of the other become the soles of “scarpéts,” the typical shoes of Carnic women.

Many flics put together to create something new and valuable.
Many flics like the many stories found in the app “FLICS: memories to Explore,”: 30 stories, memories, small anecdotes donated by the inhabitants of Sutrio and transformed into texts and audio tracks.

But it’s not that simple: these 30 stories are hidden within as many QR codes scattered throughout Sutrio, in Priola and Noiaris, and even on Mount Zoncolan. With the integrated GPS in the app, it will be easy to see where you are and where the nearest point is to you. When you’re in the vicinity, read the clues on the map: they will tell you at what height from the ground the QR code is, if it’s accessible to everyone (we’ve done our best to make it so), and even some other information to decipher in order to locate it.

When you find the QR code, scan it to unlock the story; you can read it or, as we recommend, listen to it and look around: the short lady with short hair passing by could be Olimpia herself, yes, the one who bakes 1,500 cjarsons in one go.

30 stories are a lot, but once you find and listen to all of them, you will receive not just one but two rewards: we will give you a memory of FLICS and Sutrio, and, above all, you will become an honorary citizen of the town because you will know its people, habits, and anecdotes that bind a community together.

If 30 are too many, you can exit the app and resume the game later: your results will be saved and stored automatically. Each story has a different score that positions you in a shared leaderboard. Keep an eye on it because there might be another player ready to surpass you: memory explorers are many!
