Villages and Nativity Scenes 2023 – Sutrio Country Nativity Scene

For the 2023 edition of Borghi e Presepi, Sutrio welcomes you to the Nativity Scene Country: the exhibition itinerary of nativity scenes from all over Italy and abroad will open on Friday 8 December 2023 and will continue until Sunday 7 January 2024.

It will be an edition truly full of initiatives:

• every day the exhibition is open (except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day) there will be manual and creative workshops for children and adults: from learning how to make a candle to preparing an aperitif for the holidays, from readings animated music workshops for the very young. On the Pro Loco Sutrio website all the information on the calendar and booking
• along the streets of the town the wooden houses will host many local artisans who will offer both artefacts made of wood, concrete, ceramic… and gastronomic products with local ingredients, as well as pancakes and hot drinks
• for the little ones there will be “La via del Natale”: a journey to enter the Christmas atmosphere! 20 stages between Sutrio, Priola and Noiaris to visit with the help of a map, in each a sticker to complete the Christmas tree on the map. The route is free, it starts from Cason (Sior Matie’s Ort) where you can collect the map, a hot herbal tea and the lantern for light. At the end, returning to Cason, a special prize!

Friday 8th – Saturday 9th – Sunday 10th December: from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 19.00
Saturday 16 – Sunday 17 December: from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 19.00
from Friday 22 December to Sunday 7 January: from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 19.00
Christmas Day, December 25th, and January 1st: from 2pm to 7pm

The Teno Nativity scene with the adjoining wood and embroidery workshop, the artisans’ houses and the stages of the “Via del Natale” follow the same dates and times as the event.
