Every year, from Christmas to Epiphany, Sutrio is enriched with artisanal nativity scenes that come from all over Italy and abroad.
The representations of the nativity fill the courtyards, old stables, niches, and courtyards of Sutrio in a suggestive path throughout the village, showcasing unique pieces of craftsmanship that amaze with their variety: from life-sized sand nativity scenes to those inside walnut shells; some use hay, some recycled fabric, and others wood; static and moving nativity scenes that make the magic of Christmas come alive even more intensely.
